Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2. — General distribution: Christmas Island and Indonesia east to Marshall, Phoenix and Line islands, north to Philippines, south to Papua New Guinea. Found on steep seaward reef slopes, 20 – 50 m depth. Marine.
