Remarks According to Kottelat & Freyhof (2007) this species inhabits only waters of Montenegro. However, Schöffmann & Marić (2024) suggested this species is widespread in the Sava River catchment. Because the occurrence and distribution of this species are unclear, it is not included in the list of fishes from BiH, awaiting further information.
