Rhinella nattereri
Rhinella nattereri (Bokermann, 1967)
Descriptions from checklists and floras indexed by GBIF
discussion
Remarks: A member of the Rhinella granulosa species group; little is known about this species in Venezuela. Pereyra et al. (2016) could not obtain genetic samples to test its phylogenetic relationships. The morphological characteristics of this form should be more carefully compared with R. beebei and R. merianae to determine and support species-level validity. Selected references: Narvaes and Rodrigues (2009); Señaris et al. (2014); Pereyra et al. (2016).
